Italian recipes by Yocci – Tortelli di zucca
Yocci’s gastronomic table mat collection is set to expand with the addition of that most traditional of Mantuan dishes, tortelli di zucca (pumpkin tortelli), based on a recipe from Rosanna, who has been making them in her pasta shop in town for decades. Yocci gives step by step instructions – as always, in both Japanese and Italian – on how to prepare tortelli di zucca, from the pasta to the filling (with amaretti and mostarda, as tradition dictates!).
Yocci (Yoshiko Noda) was born in 1980 in Osaka, and she just graduated at the Accademia di Belle Arti in Bologna with a thesis about woodcut printing (xylography). She collaborated with Festivaletteratura and with the magazine “Internazionale”. She exposed her works at Artefiera in Bologna and works with several companies in Italy and abroad. She has published several books for Corraini Edizioni.
